I think the British system

I think the British system has some advantages over on the job training.
Students go to school full time for two years before they hit industry dont they ?

i really like the way i

i really like the way i trained in Aus, however it seems that we are pumping out chefs so quick these days. it took me 3 full years at TAFE and 1 full year on the job to be fully qualified, i have heard some places are qualifying people after 9 months !!! is this true ?? if it is it's crazy !!

Im currently training as a

Im currently training as a chef , I feel lucky I have an apprenticeship !

Im getting my trade Cert III the way you did Sam, I get 4 years full time training on the job and Block release at TAFE.

I think this will give me a huge competitive advantage against full time students that get CERT III commercial cookery in 9 months with only 4 weeks industry experience !

I believe in a 4 year Cert

I believe in a 4 year Cert III. Would you trust a heart transplant doctor who trained for 9 months in a simulated hosptal versus a 4 year trained doctor who trained in a real hospital ???

A no brainer really
